CCCONSTITUTION OF THE ASSOCIATED STUDENT BODY OF GROSSMONT HIGH SCHOOL

ARTICLE I
NAME AND PURPOSE
SEC. 1             This organization shall be known as the Associated Student Body of
Grossmont High School.

SEC.2             We the Associated Student Body commit to improve the overall high school experience by reaching and serving all students. By fostering school spirit and involving community, teachers and parents we will provide diverse activities, which will unite the student body and create a more positive and fun atmosphere.
            
ARTICLE II
AUTHORITY
The source of all powers of the Associated Student Body of Grossmont High School is the principal of Grossmont High School and all are subject to his/her veto at any time.
ARTICLE III
MEMBERSHIP
SEC. 1      There are two types of membership in the Student Body, regular and active.

1. Under registration of Grossmont High School, the student automatically becomes a regular member.
2. As a regular member students may, upon purchase of an ASB card, obtain active membership for the rest of the fiscal year.

SEC. 2       All members of the Student Body are eligible to participate in the election

                  process which takes place within the framework of the ASB.
